Stand Back For The Senior Picture Zack Attack!

Do they save the best for last?  They just might.  Hehe…. actually all three of the soccer playing brothers in this family are awesome – Jake, Josh and now Zack completes the trifecta.  Zack’s mom Shari joined us once again for a fun filled day of senior pictures and Zack crushed it.  This class of 2024 senior from Walled Lake Central is a delight to photograph – he’s one of the most positive dudes to be around and we remember that from when he came to Jake’s senior session when he was about 9 (?).  So let’s get to some highlights of the Zack Attack!!!

Senior Picture Zack Attack

Let’s start in the studio!

Looking good Zack!

We also had some fun with fire while we were here and here’s some behind the scenes from that on Instagram:

We Get Riled Up In The Best Way To Photograph Our Goddaughter Riley!

Here we have one of those surreal moments when we photograph our goddaughter Riley whom we’ve known since birth for her senior pictures!  Riley has been on our blog before in family portraits and for her bat mitzvah and we love her – she’s family.  Her mom Monique joined us for what turned out to be a perfect day!  This is a special session also because it’s the first time we’ve ever done a senior session at Mill Race Village in Northville!  We now have a permit to photograph there and we are listed on their website so check out the site!  Should be great for some fall sessions this year, but I digress….  the point of this post is RILEY!  And yes, we are RILED UP to show you the highlights…..in the very best way!  Hyped, stoked – you name it!  Let’s go…

Riled Up For Riley!

Most of these photos are at Mill Race like this one we took in the gazebo…

Riled Up

Our gorgeous goddaughter!!!!

We also have some behind the scenes from the session first from Facebook:

So fun!

Here are a couple more from Mill Race including this spot which was one of several that actually drew Riley to the park – it rained heavily the day before which gave us some more activity with the rapids – the whole scene looks so cool!

Riled Up

She’s adorable.  Are we biased?  YEP.  SORRY NOT SORRY.

And this little vista by the water is really nice… Riley is actually IN the water here…

Riled Up

This next one has a little disclaimer – do NOT take pictures on actual train tracks – even if they aren’t in use.  It’s dangerous and illegal.  This is a little “train track replica” so to speak right at the park that doesn’t go anywhere.  It’s probably about 10 yards long.  We gotta say, we love this one.  Ally was up high on a step stool shooting directly down at Riley and it came out soooo good – her smile is amazing.

Riled Up
So pretty!

At this point we headed over to downtown Northville so we are going to share one more – first we have more behind the scenes this time from Instagram:

Josh Makes A Triumphant Return To The Studio For Senior Pics!

Josh made his triumphant return to the studio!!!  We love this dude – he and our Tony are the best of buddies and we’re going to miss him seeing him as often when he heads off to Western Michigan to be a Bronco!  In the meantime after representing our studio as a spokesmodel for the class of 2019 he came back in with his mom Amy to get a few more studio pics so let’s get to a few highlights!

Triumpant Return…!

Gotta love the ivy cap he started off with – it belonged to his grandpa – SO COOL.

Triumphant Return

We also have some hilarious behind the scenes action first from Facebook Live!

Next we changed it up with a couple different looks on the white background – first with the full length chillin’ on the stool:

Triumphant Return

Josh changed shirts one more time for these next couple:

Triumphant Return

Stud!

We went live a second time as well, this time on Instagram!

And we’ll leave you with this up close and smiling pose…

Triumphant Return
That’s a confident dude – he’s got it together and he had a triumphant return to the studio indeed!  We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our time with him!

Sports Update With Frameable Seniors Who Are Now College Athletes!

We have done Frameable Flashbacks before where we check in with a former Frameable senior but this is the first time we’ve ever done a sports update with all of them!  We hope to make this a recurring thing as we follow the careers of these inspiring young student athletes!  We got the idea because this year we had a big run on athletes in the class of 2019 and we were thinking how cool it will be to follow their exploits at the next level.  But that got us thinking about all the other athletes we’ve had come through the studio who had great college sports careers already or who are currently getting it done now, so we thought this would be fun to highlight them!  Note:  We did NOT take these sports photos – we have credited them to the appropriate websites from the schools.

Frameable Sports Update #1

Let’s go back a ways to some of our seniors who have already finished their careers starting with Jarred Bratley!

Sports Update

Photo from mgoblue.com

That’s Jarred above with the long hair running cross country for the Michigan Wolverines!  He graduated from Bloomfield Hills Andover and had a nice career at Michigan including Academic All-Big Ten honors.  What a great family, and his mom Elise would always come by the studio and keep us updated!  Jarred is going to be a doctor too.

Next we have Hallee Kansman who played soccer at Eastern Michigan!

Sports Update

Photo from EMU website

Hallee comes from a soccer family and we’ve known her mom for ages – so not to be outdone, her brother Kyle who was a spokesmodel for us played at Alma and earned all-conference honors there!  Both Kansmans played their high school soccer at North Farmington!

Sports Update

Photo from Alma website

Way to go Kyle!

Next up is David Attenson who played football at Northwood – we remember cracking up on his senior session with a couple of intentionally goofy photos for fun!  David graduated from Bloomfield Hills Lahser.

Sports Update

Photo from Northwood University website

He looks ready to rock in that photo!

Oh and let’s stay with Northwood with current player and son of Doug’s former Michigan teammate Doug Skene, Nathan Skene!  He’s a tight end up there and doing a great job!

Sports Update

It’s cool to see the next generation getting it done.  Nathan’s sister Madelin is about to start her freshman season at U of M Dearborn as well so we hope to have some updates from her soon too!

Next up is Jack Wangler who played wide receiver at Michigan – that’s Jack #16 on the left!

Sports Update

Photo from MLive.com

We’ve known the Wanglers for years and did senior pictures for three of the sibs as well as some great family photos.  Jack’s dad John played quarterback at Michigan back in the day with Doug’s older brother Jeff so we go way back.  We still talk about the laugh we had on Jack’s session when an older lady peaked her head in the door to say how good looking he was… hehe…   Jack has graduated and just came in recently for a headshot for his new job!

Once again we have a sibling student athlete with Jack’s brother Jared who just finished his career at Michigan this past season and he scored a sweet touchdown this year against Maryland!  Both of these guys played their high school ball at Warren DeLaSalle.

Sports Update

Photo from detroitnews.com

That’s Jared #5 celebrating his TD!  Our first “night time bleacher shot” was done with Jared and it still hangs in one of our windows!

Next we have Kayla Cornett from Birmingham Groves who after starting at Macomb Community College has just signed to continue her career at Madonna University!

Sports Update

Photo from macombdaily.com

Love that girl and we’re excited for her!

Next we have Jubilee Jackson who was a spokesmodel for us and graduated from Bloomfield Hills High School.

Sports Update

Photo from Hope College website

Jubilee played lacrosse for a season at Hope College – she’s one of a kind that one…. love her!

Next up is our nephew Jake Cohen who has been playing football at Wooster in Ohio!

Sports Update

Photo From the-daily-record.com

That’s Jake #43 and Jake graduated from North Farmington.  Unfortunately Jake had a really bad knee injury this past fall but up until that point he was having a really nice career starting at linebacker for the Fighting Scots!

Sticking with Wooster we go to double threat Akwia Tilton who plays basketball AND runs track for the Scots!

Sports Update

Photo from Woosterathletics.com

Sports Update

Photo from Woosterathletics.com

Wow!  Now that’s impressive.  Akwia attended Roeper High School.

And yet one more at Wooster!  Anabel Faigin is a West Bloomfield grad and is a cheerleader at Wooster!

Sports Update

Photo from Woosterathletics.com

That’s Anabel on the right in the second row!

Staying in Ohio we have Jake Rubin who is playing soccer for Wittenburg College!

Sports Update

Photo from Wittenbergtigers.com

Jake attended Walled Lake Central and we just photographed his class of 2019 brother Josh!

Sticking with soccer for a sec we go to Centre College where Abby Hegarty is a defender for the Colonels!

Sports Update

Photo by Kyle McGinnis from centrecolonels.com

That’s Abby above wearing #26!

Next is Marquian Johnson who played high school ball at Clawson and had a couple of great seasons playing wide receiver for Saginaw Valley State!

Sports Update

Photo from Saginaw Valley website

Another great kid with a wonderful mom Brenda!

Next up is Scotty Grant who is playing baseball at Albion – another one with a younger brother we photographed this year from Orchard Lake St. Mary’s!

Sports Update

Photo from Albion University website

Scotty reminded us of our Tony a little when we photographed him – before he grew his hair long of course… lol!

Last but not least is Nick Seidel who captained his West Bloomfield Lakers to the state championship game his senior year.  Nick was a spokesmodel for us as was his older sister Emma!  We love this family and Nick is a great kid.

Sports Update

Photo from hopkinssports.com

Nick is currently playing football at Johns Hopkins and that’s him in black and blue #43!  He had a fantastic freshman season and helped the Blue Jays get to the playoffs!

That’s it for now – we can’t wait to include Grace, Anika, Meg, Josh and Morgan as soon as they go off to Florida, North Carolina, Central Michigan, Spring Arbor & Utica to play track, tennis, field hockey, soccer and hockey!  We have also created a Twitter list of all of the current teams that have Frameables on the roster – you can follow that list HERE!

A Fiery, Fall and Soccer Senior Session Jam With Josh!

Soccer senior sessions and Fall sessions are cool, and with Josh we got both!  Josh is a legacy and soccer runs strong in his family as we found out when his brother Jake came in a few years ago, and we love this family so we knew Josh would be a good dude – he was the only one we hadn’t met yet!

Soccer Senior

We started in the studio where Josh’s mom Shari joined us for the fun!  We broke out the fire for this first pic – check it out:

Soccer SeniorSo dope.

We also have some fun behind the scenes action from that image from the Instagram Live broadcast we did:

At this point we headed out for some fall colors as they are really cool here in Michigan when the leaves start to turn… It was a pretty chilly day but as we (or at least I) say it’s ALL mental!  Lol…

Soccer Senior

Pure Michigan!  Josh looks great!

We have some more behind the scenes from that photo as well – this time from Facebook Live:

Let’s leave you with a couple more – first in a relaxed pose:

Soccer Senior

And one last photo… don’t try this one at home…hehe.

Soccer Senior

Awesome – fire, fall and a soccer senior – what could be better?  Josh is a great kid who is going to go far, and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our time with him!

It’s Madi Madness! A Super Fun Senior Session That We “Crushed”!

So how about some Madi Madness?  Madness in a good way – as in madly great photos of a madly great girl…  What a sweetheart and her mom Teresa is a delight as well!  We actually met Madi months ago here at the studio when she popped in with our son’s buddy and current spokesmodel (and current Madi boyfriend) Josh, and we liked her instantly – she’s hard not to like.

Madi Madness

We had a game plan that focused mainly on outdoor location photos in Birmingham and we even had the pup join!  But first let’s start with just Madi with this beautiful closeup:

Madi Madness

Gorgeous!

We also have some fun behind the scenes first from the replay of our Instagram Livestream:

And here’s where the session temporarily went to the dogs – say hi to Ollie!

Madi Madness

Love a smiling pup!

At this point we headed over to downtown Birmingham where we took this classic pose by Madi’s request – and she rocked it!

Madi Madness

We fired up the live video one more time too – this time on Facebook Live:

And we’ll leave you with one more cute pose with the lamppost:

Madi Madness

Love it!  And we love Madi Madness!  We hope you loved the highlights of our day with her!

Oh wait….  our friend Aaron Norvell has a hashtag he’s promoting on Instagram called #IJustCrushed – we got in on that as a little bonus for you… hehe…

Ethan Evoked A Relaxed and Enjoyable Vibe On His Senior Session!

Yes Ethan evoked a relaxed and enjoyable vibe on his senior session!  A soft spoken and nice guy, Ethan came with his mom Jodi on a nice day with a little cloud cover for some location photos around town and we had a good time!  We hadn’t met before they came to us, but it turned out that we had plenty of mutual connections and we actually photographed Ethan’s cousins for their senior pics!

Ethan Evoked a Relaxed and Enjoyable Vibe

Before we headed outside we started in the studio for a bit and got a few formal photos – Ethan was looking sharp and that’s where we’ll start:

Ethan Evoked

Looking good!

We didn’t stay in the studio for long and now we’ll take a look at some of the location photos.  We also have a little fun behind the scenes for you from the Facebook Live replay first:

And here is one of the results!

Ethan Evoked

Just chillin’ right?  Ethan did a fine job.

Let’s look at another one against this cool looking metal surface:

Ethan Evoked

Nice.

We also have a little more behind the scenes this time with the footage from our Instagram Live:

And we’ll leave you with one more highlight from this last part of the session!

Ethan Evoked

And there you have it!  Ethan evoked a relaxed and enjoyable vibe for sure and we hope you liked the highlights of our day with him!

It’s Time For The Class of 2019 Spokesmodel Panorama…..RAMA!!!

Here we go with the Class of 2019 Spokesmodel Panorama…..RAMA!!!  We did this last year and this is just our fun way of stacking these behind the scenes iPhone panoramic photos that Doug took during our spokesmodel sessions.  There’s something cool about the way the scope of a panoramic photo can capture and distort a scene in a weird and wonderful way!  These are not “professional” photos by any stretch and are not meant to be taken too seriously, but they are a fun way to recap our last few months with our Class of 2019 crew as we head into senior season!

2019 Spokesmodel Panorama

This year’s sessions took us to the usual haunts as well as a new one or two… burned out buildings, majestic theaters, trails and parks, and of course the Frameable Faces studio!  We have such an outstanding team representing us this year for the class of 2019 and so in no particular order, here is your panorama…..RAMA!

Bring On The Class of 2019 Spokesmodel GUYS Jumping Off With Josh!

So far we have highlighted 8 – count ’em – 8 senior spokesmodel GIRLS from the upcoming class of 2019.  So now it’s time for the 2019 spokesmodel GUYS – Josh and Tony who are buds and bad dudes.  Today the focus is on Josh who is a Walled Lake Central Viking, a lacrosse player and potentially a future attorney…

We had a pretty hilarious and productive day with Josh and his mom Amy and we got some great photos indoors and on location so let’s get to ’em!

2019 Spokesmodel Guys – Josh

We started on location in the morning.  Morning sessions begin outside while the sun is lower in the sky…  Here’s a simple seated photo of our guy…

2019 Spokesmodel GUYS

At this point we relocated and went live on Instagram for some behind the scenes fun!  Here’s the replay from our YouTube channel!

And here’s a close up result:

2019 Spokesmodel GUYS

Handsome dude!

Back to the studio…

Now it was time to get SERIOUS….  Suit and tie time!!!  We often photograph our formal guys on the grey paper – we just like the way it looks.

2019 Spokesmodel GUYS

At this point we went live again – this time on Facebook for some more behind the scenes:

And we’ll leave you with the photo that could be the consensus favorite – lol…

2019 Spokesmodel GUYS

How great is that?

Josh was a great jump-off point for the class of 2019 spokesmodel guys!  We hope you enjoyed the highlights of our morning with him.  Tony will close it out next….

Crazy Stuff Happened In The NICK Of Time On NICK’s Senior Session!

Crazy stuff happened indeed on Nick’s senior session!  It’s not often that a sheriff hauls away your senior at the end of his session…. but in this case the sheriff definitely showed up in the NICK of time!  See what I did there…?  Haha!  Meanwhile this session was a family affair with both of Nick’s siblings and his mom Paola joining us!  Nick is a lucky guy – he has amazing and supportive siblings and they helped out a lot.  What a special day and Nick totally rocked his session!  Paola was a little stressed about getting the best shots but I think Ally and Nick connected and, well – you’ll see the results…

Nick’s Senior Session

We started out in the studio where we used the silver metal and black backgrounds.  Let’s start with the silver first:

Nick's Senior Session

That looks like a guy who is having fun!

We also have some fun behind the scenes action for you starting with the Facebook Live broadcast replay:

So fun!  And here’s the shot on the black with the black leather – very cool:

Nick's Senior Session

Big smiles.

At this point it was time to head to Pontiac to get some urban shots and that’s where the crazy stuff happened!  We’ll get to that…

First let’s take a look at a couple of great shots of our guy:

Nick's Senior Session

Steps…..and stairs….

Nick's Senior Session

Now here is where the crazy stuff happens!  Here’s the YouTube Live Replay where we ran into Officer Piotrowski from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, and lo and behold he gave us a police escort for our session and helped with location scouting and everything!  Just in the NICK of time!!!!

But…..

Nick still ended up in the police car.

NICK's Senior Session

Hahaha….  and here is the Snapchat story which we had to include here because it’s just too good.

So there you have it!!!  Nick’s senior session was one we will never forget that’s for sure, and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day!
