Up And Adam! A GREAT morning in Detroit! See What We Did There?

Up and Adam!  That’s what we did on an early Friday morning with Noah & Ellen to head down to Eastern Market to photograph Adam for his senior pictures!  This is not the first time we’ve photographed this kid.  We were there for his bar mitzvah when our Angela captured his event, along with his brother Jesse’s and some earlier family pics too!  These guys are friends of ours going back almost 30 years, but I digress – this post is about Adam being a Class of 2021 Walled Lake Western senior and bringing his sense of style to the proceedings – we would expect nothing less from this dude!  So let’s get to it!

Up and Adam!

 Adam

Adam is da man – he looks great!

Lots of colors with the murals in the market – like this one…

Adam

Love it!  We also have some fun behind the scenes first from Facebook:

One outfit change later, here’s another mural with our dude:

Adam

Love this guy’s style!  We also have a TikTok to share from the day…

And we’ll leave you with this one with the shades:

Okay we lied – one more “Year of 2020 Special” yearbook shot!  Classic….

Okay just kidding – that’s not actually going in the yearbook….  lol.

So there you have it!  We were “Up and Adam” in Detroit and we hope you enjoyed the highlights of our day with him!

Rita Really Reached The Top On Her Senior Picture Session!

Rita really reached the top on a hot but perfect day in Birmingham for her senior pictures!  What a BEAUTY on every level.  Smart, adorable, personable, funny and nice – we fell for this girl immediately along with her mom Eva – we laughed so much!  Just felt like old friends, and Rita slayed the game.  Rita just graduated from Walled Lake Western in the class of 2020 which we know had a pretty weird end to their senior year, but we kicked it back up a notch with this session.  You’ll see what we mean if you keep scrolling!

Let’s start in the studio with this close up on the black backdrop:

Now would be a good time to give a shout out to one of our favorite Frameable seniors from the past, Mary Qarana (Beauty By Mary Q) – Rita’s cousin for doing the fantastic job on her makeup!  Love her!

At this point we headed out to Birmingham for some location photos:

Rita Really

OMG.  That backlight, the pose, the smile – what a perfect photo!!!

We have some fun behind the scenes from Quarton Lake from Facebook too:

Rita broke out the cap and gown for this next one:

Okay how FUN is that one?

We also have a nice little TikTok from the day too!

A Twin Sister Senior Double Bill!

This does not seem possible but while we have photographed several sets of twin high school seniors before, each time it was a twin brother and sister.  This was the first time we had ever photographed twin sisters!  We love all of our seniors but photographing twin sisters together was a unique experience and a total blast!!!

Both of these girls are stunning and they are soooo funny together.  All five of us (mom included) were laughing our tails off for most of the session.  We started out on location first, and first we’ll focus on Mary’s individual shots.

Gorgeous right?  Here’s a little 6 second peek into the making of this session with the girls posing together…  🙂

It was quite chilly but you would never know it from the results and the lighting was just right!  These two were jabbing at each other with the full sibling rivalry on display one second, and then laughing and cheering each other on a second later!  Their mom sometimes played a little referee and then other times just stayed out of the way.  Hilarious!  You can see how much fun these two had posing for some pictures together in these next two images!

Last but not least let’s take a look at Natalie’s individual photos!  Hope you enjoyed the pictures of these fun and adorable sisters!  We certainly had a memorable day with them that we will not soon forget!

Class of 2013 Frameables! Part 3!

The spectacular class of 2013 continues!  Fall has given way to winter but the fall colors lingered in some cases for longer than we thought.  We still have a few on tap and maybe we’ll get some good snowy scenes, but for now here is the latest round of young inspiring frameables who mean so much to us!  Before we know it they’ll be graduating, moving on and we’ll be photographing the class of 2014!

Class of 2013 Frameables! Part 2

Back in September we posted some Class of 2013 Frameables and promised that there would be more to come, so as promised here is Part 2!!!  What a great year this has been and the fall colors of Michigan have been beautiful!  We have enjoyed each senior who has come through our doors – more great sessions, great stories, great friendships being built.  Our sometimes-rogue reflector “Reflecto” has even been moved to start tweeting largely because of the fun he’s had on the senior sessions (although he probably won’t admit it).

Meanwhile, we hope you enjoy this new round of photos of these inspiring young Frameables!
